To provide a drying device capable of reducing time and power required for drying.
The drying device comprises a heat pump device constituted such that a coolant is circulated through piping 35 in the order of a compressor 31, a heat radiator 32, a drawing device 33 and an evaporator 34 and the constitution of drying a drying object 36 with drying air heated by the heat radiator 32 and dehumidifying the drying air made to contain moisture by the drying in the evaporator 34. By providing an outdoor air introducing port 38 for introducing outdoor air into a drying air path 42 between the evaporator 34 and the heat radiator 32, an outdoor air introducing amount adjusting means 39 for adjusting an outdoor air introducing amount from the outdoor air introducing port 38, an outdoor air temperature detection means 40 for detecting an outdoor air temperature, and a control means 41 for operating the outdoor air introducing amount adjusting means 39, introducing the outdoor air of low humidity into the drying air path 42 according to the outdoor air temperature and utilizing it for drying, the time and power required for drying are reduced.
