To provide a safe and efficient drying device solving a problem that heat generated by a combustion furnace is not sufficiently effectively used and measures for safety is not sufficient when drying is executed at temperature higher than former one in a drying device.

This device is provided with a conveyer part 12 provided with a hopper 11 through which object to be dried is thrown in and a throw-in screw 13 feeding the object to be dried from the hopper 11, and an inner cylinder body 21 provided with a screw 22B moving the object to be dried coming from the conveyer part 12 inside thereof and rotating around a center shaft of a cylindrical body, an outer cylinder body 31 provided outside of the inner cylinder body 21 and rotating the inner cylinder body 21 inside thereof, screw blades 33A-33C provided between the inner cylinder body 21 and the outer cylinder body 31 and dividing a space between the inner cylinder body 21 and the outer cylinder body 31 in a plurality of spiral strips, an incombustible gas supply means supplying incombustible gas to the screw of the conveyer part 12 from a conveyance tip part of the object to be dried, and burners 34A-34C feeding hot air to the divided spaces.
