Abstract:
To provide a drying device preventing a recess/projection formed curing material from being smoothed, by quickly curing the curing material on a recess/projection formed base material sheet.
A second drying device 8 dries UV clear varnish 11 by applying irradiation light to the UV clear varnish 11 on the recess/projection formed base material sheet 10 by making it pass through a holding section 50 between a letterpress cylinder 41 and an impression cylinder 40 disposed in opposition to each other. A second ultraviolet ray irradiation lamp 60 applying the irradiation light toward the holding section 50, is disposed on a downstream side of the holding section 50 in the transporting direction of the base sheet 10.
