Abstract:
To provide a dynamic vibration damper using locking miniaturized and simply formed, and capable of easily adjusting natural frequency in a wide range, having damping performance without using a damper, and easily installed even on an existing structure.
This dynamic vibration damper using locking has a polygonal bottom surface and a gravity center positioned under the center of the radius of curvature of an arcuation circumscribing the polygonal shape. The alternative dynamic vibration damper has an arcuate bottom surface and a gravity center positioned under the center of the radius of curvature of the arcuation, and has a damping mechanism for damping the locking vibration of the bottom surface.
