Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten a processing time in the case of registering/erasing plural words and to prevent the preservation of a registered word dictionary from being missed by selecting the start of a preservation processing just after a word registration processing/word erasing processing.
CONSTITUTION: When an input is supplied from a keyboard KB, first of all, an interruption signal is sent to a microprocessor CPU, the microprocessor CPU reads various control signals stored in a ROM and according to those control signals, the various kinds of control are performed. By providing a dictionary preservation instructing means, an operator can select the start of the preservation processing after word registration or word erasing. Namely, the operator can select whether the preservation processing is to be performed or not every time word registration is operated. Therefore, in the case of registering plural words, the operator designates preservation only in the operation of registering final single word.
