To provide an eaves ventilation member which is low in cost, simple in fitting, and excellent in fireproofness and drainage, and an eaves ventilation structure using this ventilation member.
A ventilation member arranged on a part of an eaves soffit is a transversely long hollow body of substantially same thickness as that of an eaves soffit member, and has a slit-like opening 11 row in a lower surface and a longitudinal opening part 12 in an upper surface, a thermal foam 13 is arranged on a lower surface opposite to the opening 12, forward and rear edges of an eaves soffit panel with the eaves ventilation member 10 which is a projecting piece 14 with one end of the lower surface overlapping an end part bottom surface of the eaves soffit member, the eaves soffit members with the eaves ventilation members 10 arranged thereon, and a ceiling joist are integrated with each other are fitted and fixed by support pieces on the eaves side and the external wall side, and an elastic pressing means is provided on at least one of the support pieces.
