Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current heating device capable of effectively converting a rotation shaft's kinetic energy to thermal energy before collection.SOLUTION: A heating device 1 comprises: a rotation shaft 3; a heating member 4; a plurality of permanent magnets 5; a magnet holding member 6; and a heat collection mechanism. The rotation shaft 3 is rotatably supported on a main body 2 that is a non-rotation part. The heating member 4 is cylindrical and is fixed to the main body 2. The magnets 5 face the heating member 4's inner peripheral surface while keeping space, and are alternately arranged so that magnets adjacent to each other have different magnetic poles. The magnet holding member 6 holds the magnets 5 and is fixed to the rotation shaft 3. The heat collection mechanism includes a closed vessel, part of which is fixed to the main body 2 to enclose the heating member 4; and collects heat generated at the heating member 4. The closed vessel includes a nonmagnetic cylindrical partition 15, which rotates integrally with the rotation shaft 3, in the space between the heating member 4 and the magnets 5. A nonmagnetic protrusion 16 is provided on the partition 15's outer peripheral surface facing the heating member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
