Abstract:

To provide an EHD fluid transporting apparatus having a means for removing a foreign matter attached to electrodes of an EHD pump.

An EHD fluid transporting apparatus 11 for transporting an EHD fluid 20 includes: a channel 14 through which the EHD fluid 20 passes; an EHD pump 15 disposed in the channel 14 and having two electrodes 16 and 17; a DC power supply 18 for applying a voltage to the two electrodes 16 and 17; and a polarity reversing device 19 for reversing the polarity of the voltage applied from the DC power supply 18 to the two electrodes 16 and 17.
