To provide an improved elastomer hose for an air conditioning device, capable of drastically reducing leak of a CO2 coolant, having flexibility, absorbing vibration generated from equipment etc., and preventing generation of loose cracking etc. in its jointed portion.
A resin barrier layer 2 having performance of CO2 permeability of 8.75×10-14 at 40°C and ≤3.75×10-13 (cc cm/cm2 sec cmHg) at 70°C is provided on the innermost layer of the hose 1. The resin barrier layer 2 is made of a highly fanctional material obtained by applying a material with high crystallinity, such as a thin polyacrylic acid film, to base material resin, such as PET and PA. Like conventional products, on the outer periphery of the resin barrier layer 2, an intermediate rubber layer 3, a reinforcement layer 4 and an outer face rubber layer 5 are provided sequentially.
