To provide an electric-actuator drive device that allows stopping and restraining, in further short time, an actuator drive motor in which abnormality such as breakdown occurs without adopting a mechanical brake mechanism and to provide an actuator using the electric-actuator drive device.
An electric-actuator drive device comprises a power supply, actuator drive motors 11A and 11B receiving power from the power supply and for driving an actuator B1, and a motor control circuit C for performing a regenerative break operation to the actuator drive motors 11A and 11B. The electric-actuator drive device further comprises abnormality-occurrence determination means D1 for determining whether or not abnormality occurs at required places and regenerative break means D3 for performing the regenerative break operation to the actuator drive motors 11A and 11B by using the motor control circuit C.
