PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized electric apparatus having excellent insulating reliability and mechanical strength by using foamable material as a supporting part of a high-voltage conductor such as a winding.
CONSTITUTION: Conductors 4, 5 and a supporting insulator 13 for supporting the conductors 4, 5 are disposed in a hermetically sealed vessel 9 in which insulating medium 8 is sealed. A foamed material layer 41 having elasticity and insulation is used as part or entirety of the insulator 13. As the foamed material, a foamed material having excellent elasticity such as siliconce series can be used, and the entire insulator 13 can be formed of the foamed material by using a hard foamed material. As the layer 14, it is desired to use a foamed material layer formed by foaming it with insulation gas or sealed with insulation gas therein, or a foamed material layer having excellent communicating properties among foams and excellent permeability of insulating medium.
