Abstract:
To provide an electric brake device which has high serviceability.SOLUTION: In the electric brake device which presses a friction member on a rotor rotating along with a wheel by force of an electric motor, it controls pressing force with feedback on the basis of deviation ΔWof the pressing force which is deviation for target pressing force Wof actual pressing force Wdetected by a pressing sensor and at the same time executes feed-forward control for maintaining the pressing force at the target pressing force in spite of any change of the pressing force in stead of feedback control when degree of the change of the target pressing force is smaller than a first setting degree dWand the change of the actual pressing force is larger than a second setting degree dW. For example, waste of power consumption and deterioration of durability are prevented or reduced without excess control caused by the change of the pressing force resulting in step being performed when a vehicle passes through the comparatively large step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
