Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a heat generation amount of a heater cannot be increased because power consumption is increased when the compressing function of a coffee extraction part is energized and activated simultaneously with the heater.SOLUTION: An electric coffee maker includes: a mill for grinding coffee beans into powder; a compression part for compressing the powder ground by the mill; an extraction part in which coffee raw material powder compressed by the compression part is charged and boiling water is poured to the powder to extract coffee; a heater for heating the water; and a pump for feeding the water heated by the heater to the coffee extraction part under pressure. Energization to the heater is stopped when grinding the coffee beans by the mill, or when compressing the coffee raw material powder by the compression part.
