Title:
ELECTRIC CONNECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6465780
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain relative movement without giving unreasonable distortion to a contact point by providing transition areas independently and elastically deformed respectively between the first end and the second end of the contact point. CONSTITUTION: The contact point 30 of a copper alloy is provided with an area 50 having a flat face 52 and a tail section 32 at the lower end, and it can be displaced in the X-X direction perpendicular to the flat face 52. An area 56 having a flat face 54 perpendicular to the flat face 52 is provided above the area 50, and it can be displaced in the Y-Y direction. An area 58 having a flat face 60 with a fold section of 90 deg. at the center section 36 is provided above the area 56, and it can be displaced in the Z-Z direction. When a shock or unproper contact is generated on a housing 12, the contact point 30 is moved in three directions by the elastic deformation in the transition areas 50, 56, 58 respectively, and no unreasonable stress is applied to the contact point 30 itself and solder connections.
