Abstract:

To provide an electric cooking device for food enabling homogeneous heating treatment to the whole of food even when the food comprises a large-size pork cutlet meat of a hamburg steak meat having fat and lean flesh and varying widely in value of resistance, and applicable to minimization in the device and reduction in its costs, easy to perform maintenance and enabling reduction in its running cost.

The electric cooking device for food cooks food (A) through applying alternating voltage to the food (A), and is provided with the following: a storage container 1 where a first electrode plate 12 and a second electrode plate 13 are disposed face-to-face so as to have a space thicker than the thickness of the food (A) via an insulation frame body 11; a rotary axis 14 put along the surface direction of the first electrode plate 12 and the second electrode plate 13; and a voltage application means 3 applying alternating voltage on the first electrode plate 12 and the second electrode plate 13.
