To provide an electric heating method, an electrode for electric heating, and an electric heating device that can heat the whole work at a uniform temperature with more simple constitution.
The electric heating method using an electric heating device 1 is an electric heating method for a substantially columnar work 10. At the start of electric power supply, a heat sink 6 as a member for cooling the work 10 is brought into contact with a side face end (outer side face end 10d or inner side face end 10f) set as a part within a predetermined range from an end of a side face (outer side face 10b or inner side face 10h) of the work 10, and an electrode chip 5 for supplying electric power to the work 10 is brought into belt-like contact with an edge part (outer edge 10c or inner edge 10e) as a boundary between an end face 10a of the work 10 and the side face (outer side face 10b or inner side face 10h).
