Abstract:
To solve the problem in which, in a condominium where a mail box is installed outside of a door including an electric lock having an automatic lock function, inhabitants of the condominium have to take a key of the door with them even when they go out of the door just for a short time to get postal matters, and they are locked out of the door if they forget to take the key with them.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a system for controlling an electric lock having an automatic lock function which is installed at a door and brings the door into a locked state automatically by detecting that the door is closed. The electric lock includes: a thumb-turn device capable of manually switching a locked/unlocked state of the electric lock; and a function stop device capable of stopping the automatic lock function while maintaining the locked/unlocked state of the electric lock. In the automatic lock function of the electric lock, after start-up of the function stop device, the electric lock is brought into an unlocked state by an operation of a thumb-turn knob, and the stopped state is maintained until the electric lock is brought into a locked state by the operation of the thumb-turn knob again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
