Title:
ELECTRIC LOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005232893
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To simplify a structure of a gear transmission mechanism and reduce a failure rate of the gear transmission mechanism.

An electric lock includes a lock case housing the gear transmission mechanism rotated in locking and unlocking directions, respectively, by a driving force of a drive source, a dead cam activated by a transmission force of the gear transmission mechanism and rotated also by a human operating force, and a dead bolt moved back and forth by the intermediary of the operation arm of the dead cam, which are properly arranged in the lock case. An intermittent gear disposed in the lock case has a non-engaging part on a peripheral directional part on a side of the side face by which only the dead cam is allowed to rotate freely and independently when the dead cam 5 is operated by a human. The intermittent gear also has an engaging part extending in the peripheral direction, which engaging part constitutes a part of a gear example of the gear transmission mechanism when the drive source is activated.
