Abstract:
To provide an electric motor control device capable of widening a low-voltage region where control of an electric motor is possible.SOLUTION: An inverter actuation circuit 18 receives a power from any larger one of a power supply voltage Vb of a power supply 3 and an output voltage Vc of a step up/down circuit 34. A power supply line 20 electrically connects between the inverter actuation circuit 18 and the power supply 3. The power supply line 20 is provided with semiconductor relays 14 and 15. The semiconductor relays 14 and 15 actuate by being supplied with a power via the inverter actuation circuit 18, and turn ON/OFF the supply of power from the power supply 3 to an electric motor 11. A capacitor 16 is provided between the power supply 3 and an inverter 12. A precharge circuit 17 supplies a power to the capacitor 16 not via the semiconductor relays 14 and 15. The precharge circuit 17 supplies a power to the capacitor 16 and the inverter actuation circuit 18 via the power supply line 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
