PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store the regenerative power of an electric motor efficiently.SOLUTION: An electric motor controller includes a motor driver for driving an electric motor, a power supply for supplying a power to the motor driver, a plurality of power storage devices for storing the regeneration power of the electric motor, a detector for detecting the degree of deterioration of the plurality of power storage devices in accordance with the start of the motor driver, a deterioration ranking section for ranking the degree of deterioration of the plurality of power storage devices, and a control section performing power storage by selecting the power storage devices of lower degree of deterioration in order, out of the plurality of power storage devices thus ranked, when storing the regeneration power of the electric motor in the plurality of power storage devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
