Abstract:
To provide an electric motor which can reduce manufacturing cost for metal mold by arranging an entry prevention part corresponding to a claw part in an optimal position and thereby facilitating formation of a brush holder.SOLUTION: A brush holder 40 includes: a base part 41a; a brush case 41c which slidably houses a brush 43; a torsion spring 44 having a pressing part 44c for pressing the brush 43; an introduction part 47 which is formed at the brush case 41c and into which the pressing part 44c pressing the brush 43 toward a commutator is introduced; a temporary fixing part 71 which is provided closer to the base part 41a side than the introduction part 47 and can temporarily fixes the pressing part 44c; and an entry prevention part 70 which is provided at the brush case 41c and guides the pressing part 44c to the temporary fixing part 71 beyond the introduction part 47. The entry prevention part 70 is provided at a position that does not overlap with an inlet part 47a of the introduction part 47 when viewed from a brush 43 sliding direction (an arrow A1 to A2 direction).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
