Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and compact electric tool having a heart shaped external appearance and such a shape that an output shaft is located in a substantially central part of a palm when gripped.SOLUTION: An electric tool 1 includes: a motor 3; a power transmission mechanism (4, 5) for rotating a tip tool; a trigger 6; a secondary battery 11 for supplying electric power to the motor; and a housing 2 for storing them. The housing is substantially heart-shaped in a side view. The tip tool to be attached to the power transmission mechanism is attached to one protrusion side of the heart shape, and the trigger 6 and a switch 7 are disposed at the other protrusion side of the heart shape. The gravity center position is located on a center line of the heart shape. Near a lower side of the heart, there is provided a connector 13 to be connected to an external charger 50 for charging the secondary battery. The secondary battery is a 14500 size battery, and the housing 2 has a height less than 100 mm, and a length in a lateral direction less than 150 mm, in a charging state.
