Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric tool capable of actuating a brake not through an inverter circuit.SOLUTION: A brushless motor 6 comprises: a stator including a stator coil 6d composed of three-phase stator coils U, V and W of star connection and a stator core 6c; and a rotor 6b. An inverter circuit 47 has switching elements Q1 to Q6, and controls the brushless motor 6. A control part 40 controls the inverter circuit 47. A brake switch 5c is connected independently of the inverter circuit 47 with a U-phase stator coil 6d. When the brake switch 5c becomes ON, a closed circuit (a closed circuit not through the inverter circuit 47) passing the U-phase stator coil 6d and the brake switch 5c is formed, and a brake current flows through the closed circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
