Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically conductive roller for office automation equipment, a roller that has a low hardness and a superior fatigue characteristic, that is uniform in electrical conductivity and free from performance deterioration due to temperature/humidity conditions for example, and that has low manufacturing cost as well as enabling an excellent picture to be obtained.
SOLUTION: The electrically conductive roller for office automation equipment is equipped with an electrically conductive cylinder 3, a pair of left and right circular bearings 2 for hermetically sealing both end openings of the cylinder 3, and a spindle 1 which is inserted through both bearings 2 and designed to coaxially rotate the cylinder 3 and the bearings 2. The air gap hermetically sealed inside the cylinder 3 is filled with an ion conductive solution 4 in this electrically conductive roller for office automation equipment.
