Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a high current from running through a switching element for driving and drive a motor even if the switching element for driving is switched to an ON state when a switching element for braking has a short circuit fault.SOLUTION: The electrically-driven working apparatus includes: a motor 30 operating by receiving power supply from a power source 7; a switching element Q3 generating a braking force at the motor at an ON state; and a breaking element 32 connected in series to the switching element. The breaking element shuts down a connection path to the switching element when an electric current or a temperature running through or in the connection path rises to a specified value or higher, and a series circuit of the switching element and the breaking element is in parallel to the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
