Title:
ELECTROLYZING METHOD OF TIN, LEAD OR TIN-LEAD CONTAINING ALLOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6176695
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make possible the continuation of electrolytic reaction without corrosion of a vessel for anode by an electrolyte by using a carbon fiber product as the vessel for anode in the stage of using Sn, Pb or an alloy contg. the same as the anode and executing electrodeposition with the silicofluoric acid or borofluoric acid soln. of said metals as the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:The electrolyte 6 contg. the fluorosilicic acid or fluoroboric acid, free borofluoric acid or hydrosilicofluoric acid, etc. is put into an electro lytic cell 4. A steel plate 5 held to a Cu holder 8 is used as the cathode and the anode vessel 1 which is made of carbon fibers and through which the electro lyte can pass freely is immersed as the anode into the electrolyte. The Sn-Pb alloy, etc. 3 are put as the anode material therein and electricity is conducted thereto from a DC power source 7 to deposit the Sn and Sb on the cathode steel plate 5. The alloys 3 as the consumable anode are added according to consumption. Since the vessel 1 is made of the carbon fibers, the vessel is usable for a long period of time without being corroded by the electrolyte.
