PURPOSE: To always maintain a specified pouring point and to maintain a specified molten metal pressure to a pouring port by supporting freely turnably a vessel for molten metal of an electromagnetic poruing device centering around the shaft and disposing the center of a tape hole to the center of the shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The vessel 1 holding the molten metal is supported freely turnably around the tilting shaft center 3 by a driving device. Said vessel is so constituted that the center of the tilting shaft 3 and the central line of the conduit hole 4C for melt of an electromagnetic pump 4 coincide with each other. The vessel 1 is then turned in such a manner as to maintain the specified distance between the surface of the molten metal in the vessel 1 and the shaft 3. The detent force of the inductor 4b of the pump 4 is decreased to a specified value and the molten metal 2 flowing out of the tap hole 4c is poured into a casting mold 5. It is also possible to increase the pouring rate per unit time by acting a moving magnetic field on the opposite side to vessel.
