Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electromagnetic relay which is built in a small-sized distribution board or an instrument box and is capable of opening/closing a plurality of circuits in a simple configuration in order to open a load circuit only in a special state.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay comprises: two sets of fixed contact side terminal fittings and movable contact side terminal fittings; two sets of movable contacts, two sets of fixed contacts; an actuator including a released electromagnet and a movable element which moves forwards and backwards by operating the released electromagnet; and a cross bar capable of closing/opening the two sets of movable contacts and fixed contacts in both end portions when the movable element moves forwards and backwards. The cross bar includes: a movable contact pressing engage element which simultaneously closes both the movable contacts and the fixed contacts when the movable element moves forwards; and a movable contact opening engage element which forcibly opens the movable contacts and the fixed contacts at the same time when the movable element moves backwards. A distance of separation from the movable contact pressing engage elements with respect to the movable element and a distance of separation from the movable contact opening engage element with respect to the movable element are set equal, respectively.
