To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding member for plasma display which is formed as a pattern having electrical conductivity by transferring an electrically conductive paste, etc., on a transparent base, the electromagnetic wave shield pattern being manufactured with high precision without producing a failure such as a disconnection of the pattern, shape defect, and/or low adherence, owing to poor transfer of the conductive paste, etc., and curl is suppressed to be not more than a prescribed value so that no failure occurs.
This electromagnetic wave shielding member for plasma display is characterized in that a primer layer 2 consists of an ionizing radiation setting resin, the thickness TA of the portion A of the primer layer 2 with an electrically conductive layer formed is larger than the thickness TB of the portion B with no electrically conductive layer formed, and the curl value of the electromagnetic wave shielding member is made to be 20 mm by suppressing curling in the primer layer 2.
