CONSTITUTION: A DC bias and an AC voltage are applied between electrodes 2-2 and 2-6 by a DC power source 2-14 and an AC power source 2-13. When display information is transferred to an external memory, light emitting layers 2-17 are lit successively, and the current flowed to a driving circuit 2-12 is detected, and this output is transferred to the external memory.
