PURPOSE: To make a protecting case unnecessary and operate the device in a proper ambient temperature by a method wherein a hybrid integral circuit, constituting the electronic control device, is attached directly to the inner wall of lid body of a suction air amount measuring mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The suction air amount measuring device 30, consisting of an oscillating plate 34, a coil spring 35a, a sliding resistance 35c, a sliding piece 35d and the like, is arranged in the housing 31 of a suction air flow path. The electronic control device 40, consisting of the hybrid integral circuit, is secured to the inner wall of the lid body 37 and the lid body 37 is fitted onto a connector member 36, whereby the electronic control device 40 is connected to the flow amount measuring device 30 through a connector pin P1 and to other detecter group through the pin P2. According to this method, a wire harness is shortened to improve operability and the protecting case becomes unnecessary. The hybrid integral circuit may be operated in a proper ambient temperature zone at all times by forming the lid body 37 with radiating fins 37a.
