Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability when a cover to cover the opening of a battery storage or others in an electronic equipment body is attached/detached and make a locking structure smaller.
CONSTITUTION: For a locking means to lock a battery cover 3 mounted on a battery storage 2 in the case body 1 of electronic equipment, a locking member mounting 7 is provided which is elastically deformed toward the thickness of the case body 1 with a slit formed in part of the case body 1 to spring- support a locking member 6 with the end protruded in the locking member mounting 7. The rib 4 of the battery cover 3 has a cutout 5 with inclined sides, so that the locking member 6 is engaged with the cutout 5 to lock the battery cover 3. When the locking member mounting 7 is thrusted and elastically deformed, the locking member 6 is moved integrally therewith and separated from the cutout 5 to release the cover 3 from locking.
