PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic liquid developing device capable of obtaining a toner image having high resolution, a liquid squeezing mechanism capable of efficiently squeezing liquid and a liquid absorbing roll.

CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic liquid developing device is provided with at least a part of squeezing rolls 11 on the downstream side of a developing part in which at least one of the squeezing rolls 11 is a liquid absorbing roll 11 having capillary action, in a liquid developing device processing a body to be developed 1 by using a developer 3 in the developing part. In the liquid developing device, at least a pair of the squeezing rolls 11 are provided on the downstream side of the developing part, at least one of the squeezing rolls 11 is used as the liquid absorbing roll having the capillary action and a pressure reducing and absorbing means connected to the liquid absorbing roll is provided.
