To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in the electric and mechanical performances having excellent photosensitivity characteristics, electrification characteristics and characteristics stability for repeated use, showing preferable wear resistance and causing no failure in images due to active molecules such as ozone, NOx or the like.
In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a carrier generating material and a carrier transfer material as the basic material, the photoreceptor contains butadiene compounds expressed by general formula [A] as the carrier transfer material and contains a polycarbonate resin expressed by general formula [B] (not shown) and a polyester resin having at least two kinds of unit structures expressed by general formula [C] (not shown) as the binder resin. In formula [A], each of R1 to R4 is an aryl group or an aralkyl group which may have substituents.
