To reduce temperature change to elapsed time of a switching element inside an inverter of an elevator controller, to perform air cooling and to aircool a regenerative resistor as well.
An elevator control device includes: the regenerative resistor which is connected with the DC side of an inverter through a switching element and consumes the regenerative power of an electric motor; a fan for aircooling the regenerative resistor and the inverter; a load detection means for detecting a load value of a car; and a destination floor detection means for detecting a destination floor. Also, the elevator control device includes: a temperature change prediction means for predicting the temperature change pattern of the regenerative resistor and the switching element inside the inverter accompanying an operation before the start of the operation, on the basis of the detected destination floor and load value; and a fan control means for controlling the drive voltage and drive time of the fan so as to turn the value of the temperature change of the switching element, inside the inverter to the elapsed time, to be a prescribed reference value or smaller and to aircool the regenerative resistor, on the basis of the predicted temperature change pattern.
