Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device with a regenerative converter preventing a reverse power flow of regenerative power to a commercial power system.SOLUTION: An elevator control device 1 includes: a forward conversion section 10 for converting AC power supplied from a power system 7 into DC power; an inverse conversion section 30 which converts DC power supplied via first and second power source lines into AC power and supplies the AC power to an AC motor 2 for vertically driving a car 3 of an elevator; a smoothing capacitor 20B interposed between the first and second power source lines; a power source regenerative unit 50 including a regenerative converter 52 for converting the regenerative power into AC and returning the AC to the power system 7 side; a switch 70 and a resistor 80 interposed in series between the first and second power source lines; and a control section 40 which detects that voltage of the smoothing capacitor 20B reaches a prescribed threshold during a regenerative operation so as to energize the switch 70. The prescribed threshold is set on the basis of power consumption of a load 8 other than the elevator to which power is fed from the power system 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
