Abstract:
To provide a method of thermally embossing an optical polymer film more rapidly without a deterioration of an optical property, and to provide an embossed optical polymer film manufactured by the method.
The method of manufacturing the embossed optical polymer film comprises a step of providing the optical polymer film having the first major surface and the second major surface, a step of forming a softened surface by softening at least one of the first and second major surfaces, a step of embossing the softened surface to make the embossed optical polymer film, and a step of cooling the embossed optical polymer film. The embossed optical polymer film is manufactured by the method.
