Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end part processing facility and an end part processing method which can process an object even when the object is long.SOLUTION: An end part processing facility processes both ends of an object in a longitudinal direction while conveying the object to positions A-D sequentially arranged in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the long object. The end part processing facility includes: a conveying device which conveys the object to the positions A-D sequentially; a second end part stopper arranged in the position C; a second moving device which is arranged in the position C, moves the object conveyed from the position B to the position C to a position of the second end part stopper, and aligns other end of the object; and an evacuation device which evacuates the second end part stopper to a position in which the second end part stopper is not in contact with the object in conveying the object from the position B to the position C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
