PURPOSE: To provide a polishing machine by which a polishing surface called 'HAMA' or the like can be speedily polished by reliably holding baked ceramics.

CONSTITUTION: A table 1 to intermittently rotate by a motor 13 is provided on a machine body so as to be horizontally rotatable, and placing stands 2 where a suction hole 20 is penetratingly arranged in the center are provided by six units at equal intervals in a radial state on the table 1, and pulleys 4 where a locking groove is arranged around the circumference are fixed to lower parts of stand shafts 3 of the placing stands 2 projecting under the table 1, and a rubber belt 65 is wound round a driving pulley 63 rotated by a motor 61 and a guide pulley 64. A vacuum opening-closing valve connected to a vacuum device is installed on the lower ends of the stand shafts 3, and a suction hole to communicate the vacuum opening closing valve with the suction hole 20 is penetratingly arranged in the stand shafts 3, and ceramics inversely placed on the placing stands 2 are vacuum-sucked. A rotary polishing plate 72 of a polishing device 7 is arranged in one side part of the table 1.
