PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb impact energy with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An energy absorption member 1 comprises a cylindrical member 15 in a conical shape and an end plate 17 fitted in a recessed part 15a on an inner surface of the cylindrical member 15 on a load input side. The cylindrical member 15 includes a guide groove 15b extending in an axial direction on an inner peripheral surface, and the end plate 17 includes a guide projection 17a on an outer peripheral surface. The cylindrical member 15 has a recessed part 15c formed in an end part on the load input side at a position corresponding to the guide groove 15b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
