This network is connected to at least one data server 30 and at least one energy supply box 31. This network especially includes: one or more energy and data transportation rails 321, 331, 341, 351, 361 and 371; at least one first interconnection box 38 provided to interconnect the first energy and data transportation rails 321, 331, 341, a data server, and the energy supply box; and connection modules 327, 328 and 329 for each terminal or a group of multimedia terminals, the connection module including a cable to link a predetermined point of the rail to the associated multimedia terminal or terminals.
