PURPOSE: To give a high durability against a radiant heat, and a function to stably maintain the airtightness, to the membranous material, in an escape device for airplane in which a sliding way is formed of a gas bag and a sliding surface formed of a membranous material.
CONSTITUTION: A membranous material 3 to form a gas bag is formed of coating layers 6, 7 and 8 which consist of a base material of a fiber and a heat- hardening elastomer, and the coating layer 7 at the innermost surface side is formed of a heat-hardening elastomer including no filler. When a radiant heat is operated, the heat-hardening elastomer is hardened generating no softening and melting, and the coating layer 7 extends following the extension of the membranous material 3, so as to generate no breakage to the coating layers.
