Abstract:
To provide an ethylene-based polymer excellent in flowing property and moldability and also mechanical strength, and especially giving a pipe and pipe joint.
This ethylene-based polymer containing 0.01-1.20 mol% constituting unit introduced from a 6-10C α-olefin is provided by satisfying any one or more of the following (1) and (2) in its cross fractionation chromatography (CFC). (1) The amount of eluted components at ≤80°C is ≤5% based on the total eluted amount in the CFC. (2) A relational formula (Eq-1) [wherein, Sx is the total value of areas of total peaks based on the components eluted between 70-85°C; Stotal is the total value of areas of total peaks based on the components eluted between 0-145°C] is satisfied.
