PURPOSE: To achieve a higher accuracy with a handy measurement of a wettability by placing a fixed weight of magnetic powder into a container 1 while a burette is filled with a liquid and the liquid is dropped into the magnetic powder in the container from the burette.

CONSTITUTION: A fixed weight of magnetic powder 2 is placed into a container 1 with a spherical bottom. The container 1 is shaken dropping a liquid 4 from an opening of the container 1 to measure an amount of liquid dropped when the magnetic powder 2 is turned to a round ball from dry powder. In this manner, the burette 3 is filled with the liquid 4 and the liquid 4 is dropped to the magnetic powder 2 within the container 1 from the burette 3. This enables accurate measurement of a wettability of the magnetic power 2 simply by observing condition of the powder using a handy device.
