Title:
EXCAVATION DEPTH MEASURING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3224758
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation depth measuring device capable of easily detecting the actual excavation depth.
SOLUTION: The amount of a wire is extended from a winch hanging an excavator is detected by an extension sensor 12, and the current depth of the excavator is calculated form the amount of extension. A tension sensor 14 for detecting the tension applied to the wire is provided, and a storage circuit 34 which stores the current depth as the actual excavation depth when the tension is changed is provided. The storage means 34 stores the current depth as the actual excavation depth when the winch is winding the wire and when the tension is changed. Further, when the current depth has reached a drop depth obtained by subtracting the distance of free fall from the actual excavation depth, this is displayed on a display 44 or the like and reported to the operator.
