Title:
EXHAUST STEAM REDUCING DEVICE FOR IRONING BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6429299
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce an indoor environment from getting adverse by composing a device of a large surface heat-accumulating material and providing the device with a moisture collecting part, water collecting part and cover connected to a vacuum device exhaust hole of an ironing board.

CONSTITUTION: When a vacuum device 14 is operated, the exhaust is transmitted through a moisture collecting part 18, which uses a large surface heat- accumulating material such as a metal-made steel body or porous object, and exhausted upward. Therefore, the moisture collecting part 18 is ordinarily almost cooled down into air temperature by this exhausted air. When steam is jetted out while using an iron, this iron steam is sucked through clothing on a working plane 14 by the vacuum device 13, discharged from a discharge port 12, cooled by the moisture collecting part 18, liquefied and separated and only the exhausted air containing the residual moisture is discharged into the room. Therefore, the moisture to be discharged into the room is decreased and the increase of indoor humidity is suppressed. In this case, water separated by the moisture collecting part 18 is dripped, collected by a water collecting part 19 and discharged through a pipe 22.
