Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion cover for a machine tool, for operating uniform force in lifting and lowering.
SOLUTION: A pair of rigid end plates E are integrally fixed to both upper-lower end parts of a cover body C forming a flat or substantially U-shape in a bottom surface view from bellows 1 for performing the expansion action in the vertical direction, and a plurality of rigid intermediate plates M are similarly integrally fixed to an intermediate part. An angle-shaped refraction link 30 of a toggle joint T is formed in a zigzag form of bilaterally symmetrical vertical two rows. While respectively wholly pivoting its crest part (a) on the end plates E and the intermediate plates M, a pair of left and right compression coil springs 38 for pressing and energizing the refraction link 30 in the always contracting slide direction, are respectively wound on both end parts of a slide guide rod 33 for respectively horizontally penetrating between the mutual left and right of mutual residual trough parts (b), and are determined to be used by respectively installing the upper side end plate E of the cover body C on the fixed body side of the machine tool, and similarly the lower side end plate E on the lifting motion body side of the machine tool.
