PURPOSE: To provide a small explosion generator with a generator part made of materials resistant to a plasma flow and located in a plasma discharge tube on the opposite side to an opening, in which the generator part amplifies a current in a way that a magnetic field of pulse current in the plasma flow is produced by exploding an explosive and condensed with another explosive force mechanically.
CONSTITUTION: A field generated by electrodes 6A and 6B in a first generator part is applied to a plasma flow produced through a gap part 9 by exploding an explosive 3 with a triggering device 4. The pulse current is supplied through a power-supply lead 70 to a stator 32 and an armature 31 that constitute a second generator part 50 in the rear of the plasma discharge tube 16. The field is compressed mechanically by exploding an explosive 30 with a triggering device 40 to supply an amplified current to a load 8. Moreover, a protective member 25 is provided between the first generator part and the second generator part, and a protective member 24 and a protective plate 130 are provided between an explosive 3 and a power-supply lead 7. Then, the first generator part and the second generator part 50 are adjusted in a coaxial state, and the overall system is made small.
