To realize a luminous component for watch having a simple structure which can be fixed even to a fine part by bonding an injection-molded luminous material to the inside of a recess made previously at a part of watch through an adhesive.
In order to indicate the position of 12 o'clock of a rotary bezel 1, a luminous component 10 is fixed at the position of 12 o'clock. The luminous component 10 is molded of an acryl, polycarbonate, ABS or polyallylate resin kneaded with a light storing luminous paint of which luminous basic body is produced from an aluminate phosphor comprising at least one of strontium or calcium, using a rare earth element including at least one of europium, dysprosium and erbium as an activator. The luminous component 10 is bonded in the recess 11 of rotary bezel 1 through an adhesive 5. The aluminate phosphor is susceptible to hydrosis and misses the light emission performance by absorbing moisture in the air but provides a stabilized luminous component when it is kneaded with a resin.
