To solve a problem wherein it is troublesome when an analyzing apparatus and a PC (personal computer) installation places are separated because of needing to perform the power-on of the analyzing apparatus and the starting operation of control software in the control PC.

As a function of power-on monitoring software 31 which is resident software of the PC, a command corresponding to the analyzing apparatus associated with a communication port is sent to the communication port based on set information 32. A reply to the command is not returned if the analyzing apparatus is in a power-off state, but when an operator turns on a power supply of the analyzing apparatus, the reply is returned, and it is detected to automatically start the control software 33 for the analyzing apparatus. The control software is thereby started to make an analysis without operating the PC only by turning on the power supply of the analyzing apparatus by the operator.
